Beginning in 2022, St. Camillus and Marquette University partnered to offer select Marquette University students a unique opportunity to live at St. Camillus Life Plan Community. This intergenerational housing program offers students low-cost housing in exchange for volunteering on-site eight hours each week, engaging in activities with Independent Living residents at St. Camillus.
The students fully integrate into the community by hosting social, intellectual, and physical wellness activities and enjoy the opportunity to serve the community they call home. Residents love the energy that the students bring to the community and the friendships that are formed.
Some of the benefits the students receive living at St. Camillus include:
- Low-cost apartment with free laundry services
- Meal credit and their own private kitchen
- New state-of-the-art fitness center and 24-hour security
- Satellite TV, off-street parking, heat, and Wi-Fi
