COVID-19 Communication Update

We are seeing a rise in positive COVID-19 cases as a nation and specifically in Milwaukee County due to the very contagious COVID-19 Delta variant. During the past week, four employees and six fully vaccinated residents tested positive for COVID-19. All residents who tested positive reside in our North Residence Memory Care. All other Memory Care residents were tested and the tests were negative. Those who tested positive are being moved to our Skilled Nursing Health Center to be closely monitored for symptoms. 

The Milwaukee County positivity rate for COVID19 has surpassed 10%. This means that all non-vaccinated staff will be required to test twice per week.

‍We are asking for your diligence in following the CDC guidelines and recommendations below:

• Residents must wear a face mask when outside of their apartment; this includes all common areas
• All visitors are required to wear a face mask
• ‍Please follow the social distancing guidelines put in place
• ‍To ensure social distancing in the Chapel, we will resume weekend scheduled masses by floor. Please see your weekly calendar. All residents are still invited to attend the Mon-Fri 11:00AM mass. Mass and chapel use is only allowed for residents at this time.
• The Dining Room will remain open, however all tables will be appropriately spaced
• Group programming will continue with social distancing in place

When leaving our community, we encourage you to follow the recommended CDC precautions; wear a mask, avoid crowds, social distance and wash your hands frequently.
