On August 17^th. St. Camillus Life Plan Community celebrated over 100 volunteers at their annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon.

Due to the pandemic, large group events had been previously postponed.  The event was hosted in St. Camillus’ new East Residence Independent Living and welcomed guests with a beautifully decorated room.  The program featured a special video with a compilation of volunteer photos over the last year. The theme of the 2022 Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, “Volunteers are the heart of St. Camillus’ was showered throughout every piece of the event. From handwritten thank you notes in the shape of a heart written by St. Camillus employees to colorful  heart shaped gelato desserts, the day was filled with love and appreciate for St. Camillus volunteers.   

St. Camillus has a robust volunteer program with over 100 active volunteers and is part of their St. Camillus Serves Initiative.  The mission of St. Camillus Serves is to go beyond their campus walls to provide services and support to seniors and their families who are in need within our community. St. Camillus demonstrates their vocation and the values of their founder by serving with compassion and love, honoring the sacredness and dignity of those whom they serve.
