Showcasing amazing artists at St. Camillus Life Plan Community.
St. Camillus Life Plan Community creates Resident Art Display to showcase the work of their talented resident artists.
The new art exhibit in Independent Living features the works of St. Camillus resident Betty Jo McLeod. The Resident Art Display is located on the first floor hallway and has already been enjoyed by everyone who passes it.
Betty Jo was a fashion illustrator before attending Cardinal Stritch College where she studied painting. She was a long time member of the Wauwatosa Artists’ Workshop and taught drawing at the Wauwatosa Senior Center. She has exhibited her art work in solo shows, galleries and group exhibits statewide. Nature is her favorite subject matter because the beauty of creation moves her and imparts a feeling of serenity.
St. Camillus Life Plan Community will be rotating artists and displaying their artwork for residents, staff and caregivers to enjoy.
“It’s fun to see the wide variety of artwork from our incredibly talented residents. We continue to be in awe of their talents.” - Julie Leveritt, Independent Living Administrator
