New volunteer program against loneliness...
St. Camillus Life Plan Community announces "100 visits project" launching this week.
The week of November 13th is Reducing Social Isolation and Loneliness Awareness Week in Wisconsin. St. Camillus is recruiting volunteer visitors including employees, residents, and community volunteers to reach their goal of 100 visits for residents on their campus or in their care off campus. Volunteers will be matched with a senior to visit who would benefit from an extra layer of love and support. Visits will occur between November 13th-November 20th and will take place for a minimum of 15 minutes.
Their "100 visits project" is part of the St. Camillus Serves Initiative. The mission of St. Camillus Serves is to go beyond their campus walls to provide services and support to seniors and their families who are in need within our community. St. Camillus demonstrates their vocation and the values of their founder by serving with compassion and love, honoring the sacredness and dignity of those whom they serve.
As a not-for-profit, St. Camillus Life Plan Community is dedicated to providing quality and compassionate services to seniors. Aside from their vibrant Independent Living Residences, St. Camillus offers Assisted Living, specialized Memory Care, Skilled Nursing Long Term Care and Short-term Rehabilitation and a full continuum of home health services.
