To our residents and families:
As we reflect on the past year, we are overwhelmed by the support and strength you have given us. We cannot thank you enough for your unwavering trust in our associates and community. Our spirits are lifted daily by your positivity and encouragement and we are constantly reminded of why we were called to serve. We understand the stress and pain caused by the pandemic on everyone and we are grateful to have your unconditional support.
Unfortunately the pandemic continues to worsen once again and the positivity rate is increasing rapidly. We are doing our very best to keep everyone safe and healthy during this time. With the Thanksgiving holiday quickly approaching, we encourage residents, families and our associates to follow CDC recommendations when considering how and if to celebrate with loved ones this holiday. To reduce the spread of the virus, we strongly suggest celebrating virtually with your loved ones. The risk of spread significantly increases with in-person gatherings and travels and has the potential to impact the lives of other residents and associates at St. Camillus. We know it is extremely difficult being away from loved ones especially during the holidays and we are grateful for all the efforts made to minimize the spread of the virus within our community and the greater community.
We appreciate your continuous flexibility and for adjusting to the ever-evolving CDC and community guidelines with grace. Your efforts assist greatly in the safety and health of our residents’ lives.
Wishing you the gift of faith and the blessing of hope this Thanksgiving Day.
Kevin Schwab, Chief Executive Officer
