Dear residents and families:
As a follow up to our communication sent on June 11, 2020 in regards to the last round of the building wide COVID-19 testing in our Skilled Nursing,Assisted Living and Memory Care buildings, we wanted to send you the latest update.
We received confirmation today that one of our Residential Aides working in our Memory Care building tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member last worked on 6/14 and will be quarantining at home for 14 days. There was minimal resident exposure but as an abundance of caution we are testing all residents that could have been in contact with this staff member. Currently all residents are asymptomatic. If your loved one receives a positive COVID-19 result, we will be contacting you via phone. The CDC defines exposure as contact of 6 feet or closer for a continuous duration of 10 minutes.
We will continue testing all staff until we reach the point where we’ve gone 14 days without any positive test results. Our next round of testing for all staff in our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care buildings begins next week. We will continue to provide regular updates to you as we receive them.
We thank you for your understanding and support throughout this process. If you have any questions, please contact us:
