To our residents and family members:
As a follow up to our communication sent on May 25, 2020 in regards to one of our employees testing positive with COVID-19, we want you to know our next steps for protecting our residents and staff.
When there is a single confirmed case in a Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living community, the Wisconsin Department of Health initiates a facility-wide public health investigation. Proactive testing helps address any potential outbreaks early and if needed, manage them with proper isolation procedures.
Testing for our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care residents will begin at the start of next week 6/1. All residents will be tested first following with our staff working in those buildings. If your loved one tests positive for COVID-19, a St. Camillus team member will be in contact with you.
We appreciate your ongoing support and patience throughout the pandemic. Each day we learn new information and ways to protect our community and are evolving our precautions accordingly. We will continue to provide regular updates as we have them and encourage you to continue to help us in stopping the spread of this virus.
