Dear St. Camillus family,
St. Camillus has been informed of two new resident cases of COVID-19. The residents reside in our Memory Care building. Both residents were moved to rooms in our dedicated wing in Skilled Nursing for closer monitoring. If your loved one had significant exposure to one of the above residents, you have already been notified.
Residents will continue to be tested weekly until such a time that there are 0 positive cases. Residents are monitored regularly for symptoms to help with early detection and to minimize the spread of the virus in the event that someone is positive. All staff members are tested twice weekly and are screened daily upon arriving to work.
We continue to add heightened protocol and follow CDC and local guidelines for the safety of our residents and staff. With Thanksgiving only a few days away, please consider following CDC guidelines and celebrating with those only in your household. The spread of the virus increases significantly with gatherings and travel. We understand the strain of being away from loved ones and greatly appreciate your efforts in helping to reduce the spread of the virus.
Thank you for your continued support and trust. As always, please contact us with questions.
Sincerely,
Kevin Schwab, Chief Executive Officer
Shannon Angell, Chief Operating Officer
