Greetings from St. Camillus.
This morning we were notified that another one of our Skilled Nursing residents tested positive for COVID-19. The resident developed symptoms last night and was tested immediately. The resident is being moved to our dedicated wing for new admissions and those we are monitoring symptoms.
We are currently in the process of completing contact tracing. If your loved one receives a positive COVID-19 result, we will be contacting you via phone. Any resident who tests positive will be required to isolate for 14 days and we will be monitoring any symptoms if they occur. We remain in close contact with our local and federal health officials and continue to do everything we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within our community.
Our outdoor patio visits will remain temporarily on hold until further notice. Skilled Nursing residents and staff working in our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care buildings will be tested each week until we reach zero positive cases for two consecutive weeks. When we reach the point where we have no cases, we will be able to allow families scheduled outdoor patio visits with their loved ones.
We're here for you.
As always, please feel free to call or email us with any questions.
