To our St. Camillus family members:
As a follow up to our email communication sent on 6/25 regarding the COVID-19 testing for our Skilled Nursing residents, we would like to provide you with an update. Today, we received results for another one of our Skilled Nursing residents who tested positive for COVID-19. The resident was roommates with the resident who tested positive earlier this week. Both residents are in good spirits with only mild symptoms. They have been moved to private rooms in our dedicated wing created for new admissions and for those we are monitoring with possible symptoms. We also received notification that one of their caregivers had tested positive. The employee was sent home due to developing mild symptoms prior to receiving the positive test result today and has already been quarantining.
We are currently in the process of completing contact tracing. If your loved one receives a positive COVID-19 result, we will be contacting you via phone. Any resident who tests positive will be required to isolate for 14 days and we will be monitoring any symptoms if they occur. Testing for our residents and employees will continue until further notice. Our main priority remains keeping our residents safe and healthy and preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Thank you for your support throughout this process. We are blessed to live out our mission by serving our residents with the utmost compassionate and quality care they deserve.
