An Update from St. Camillus

July 10, 2020

Many of you participated in our "Nominate a hero" program over the last few months. To recap, posters and emails went out to staff members and families to celebrate a team member by sharing their hero story. Within a few days, email and paper nominations flooded in and what was anticipated to be a small appreciation program, turned into a huge display of gratitude for employees and residents campus wide.

Every morning we announce 3 new hero nominees! Recipients receive a personalized card, hero mug, and get their picture taken for the St. Camillus Facebook page. The first group of heroes was announced on April 28th and nominations continue to come in each day. Currently there have been 170 employee nominations and 24 residents nominations!

Congratulations to all of our heroes and thank you for taking the time to show your gratitude by nominating a staff member or resident.

Memory Care Update

We would like to update you on a change in administration effective July 9, 2020. Randal Riley, Memory Care Administrator, is no longer with St. Camillus. Shannon Angell, COO, will be temporarily assuming the responsibilities of the Memory Care Administrator. We wish Randal the best of luck in his future endeavours. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

COVID-19 Communication

The safety and health of our residents remains our top priority. We continue to test our Skilled Nursing residents and staff working in our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care buildings every week. We have received the results from this week's testing and 7 employees tested positive for COVID-19. These employees did not have any direct resident contact and are all at home quarantining and monitoring any symptoms. We are in the process of contact tracing and will notify you immediately if your loved ones tests positive for COVID-19. We remain in close contact with our local and federal health officials to keep our community safe.

Visit our website, www.stcam.com, for the latest updates and news. As always, please call or email us with any questions.

Thank you for your patience and understanding,

Kevin Schwab, Chief Executive Officer

Shannon Angell, Chief Operating Officer
