Today we were notified that one of our employees who works in our Skilled Nursing Health Center tested positive for COVID-19. The employee is in the process of completing CNA training in our designated area for those we are monitoring symptoms for COVID-19. The employee last worked on July 21st. Contract tracing is complete and there was no significant exposure to any residents or staff members. We continue to monitor possible symptoms for those residing in the designated area for COVID-19 at a minimum of three times per day.
Our last round of weekly testing for all Skilled Nursing residents showed all resident results as negative. We have now completed 2 weeks of testing COVID-free which means our Skilled Nursing residents will not be tested unless they become symptomatic or after hospitalizations. New admissions to our Skilled Nursing will continue to be tested. All staff working in our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care buildings will be tested weekly until there are two consecutive weeks with zero positive cases.
