Message from San Camillo Administration

March 19, 2020

Amid a coronavirus outbreak in the United States, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is encouraging older people and people with severe chronic medical conditions to “stay at home as much as possible.”

This advice is on a CDC website that was posted Thursday, according to a CDC spokeswoman.

Early data suggests older people are twice as likely to have serious illness from the novel coronavirus, according to the CDC.

When you make unnecessary trips out, potentially you could bring back to our community an illness.

To help you stay home, we have implemented the following changes.

We are now offering you a complimentary concierge service.  The concierge will bring you your mail, delivery groceries from the Bluemound Market and also from outside grocers.  The concierge will deliver a care package from a loved one, help you video chat with friends and families.  Whatever small steps we can take to keep you safe, the concierge will assist.  To reach the call 259-7982 and leave a message or call the front desk at 259-6300.

Another step with have taken is to bountifully fill the Bluemound Market.  If there is an item you desire, there is a request list by the cashier.  We will try to obtain your request as quickly as possible.  If you liked last night dinner, pick up a leftover dinner for only $2.00!  The Bluemound Market is now open 7 days a week from 9:00am to 3:00 pm.

We have discontinued the community water carafes and coffee pots to reduce of chance of germs spreading.  Please pick up your complimentary coffee in the Bluemound Market.

STAY HOME AND STAY WELL
