Like most events around the world, the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's event didn't take place as usual this year. Instead, walkers were encouraged to show their support by donating and doing their own individual walks in their neighborhood. Residents at St. Camillus had the opportunity to enjoy an informational presentation from the Alzheimer's Association prior to the walk to learn more about the the impact of the organization. Thank you to all who wore purple, donated funds and walked to show their support in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
Over the past week, residents and staff in San Camillo made donations towards a great cause, Soles for Jesus. Soles for Jesus exists to share the love of Christ by distributing shoes to the under served in sub Saharan Africa. Donations flooded the donation tables and were delivered to the distribution office this week. Thank you to all who contributed to the shoe drive to significantly impact the lives of others around the world!
