At St. Camillus, our 6 dimensional Revitalize Wellness program is designed to help individuals maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. Our goal is to achieve a higher quality of life for allr esidents. With COVID-19 precautions in place, we have adjusted our programming to meet the needs of our residents while remaining safe. Our newest program,Lit Talk, hosted by our Life Enrichment Coordinator Terry Garrett, focuses on intellectual wellness. Terry and a small group of residents meet weekly to review the 100 greatest short stories of all time. Each week they read one story and have a lively discussion about the author and narrative!
Everyone is welcome to join us on July 13th at 2:30pm as we host a virtual visit with a Docent from the Milwaukee Art Museum! We will be discussing the history of various art pieces currently on display in the museum. To sign up, email Terry at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, July 10th to receive the invitation link to join.
The safety and health of our residents remains our top priority. We continue to test our Skilled Nursing residents and staff working in our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care buildings every week. Currently, our Skilled Nursing Health Center has 3 residents who are COVID-19 positive. These residents have been moved to our dedicated wing for new admissions and those we are monitoring for symptoms. We remain in close contact with our local and federal health officials and continue to do everything we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within our community.
