Now that we are all equipped with face coverings. It is important we know how to care for them. A dirty and or ill-fitting face mask is no help at all.  They should be routinely laundered. A washing machine and dry should suffice. Hand washing with hot sudsy water will also work. Make sure they dry completely.  

Be certain that your face mask covers your nose AND your chin. I see a lot of face coverings being worn incorrectly. If your mask is too small to cover both the bridge of your nose and under your chin, please ask the front desk for a larger one. There are diagrams in all the elevators to guide you on the proper fit. Be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth when donning or removing your face covering and wash you’re your hands immediately after removing your face covering.

Exercise #5: Leg Raise.  While sitting in a chair, make certain your back is supported with good posture (not slouched). Place your feet flat on the floor at a comfortable hip width apart.

  • SLOWLY straighten the Right leg to a comfortable height
  • Hold for 5 seconds
  • Lower the leg SLOWLY.
  • Repeat up to 10 times with the Right leg.
  • Repeat this sequence with the Left leg.
