May 7th, is our National Day of Prayer. It is an official acknowledgment that this singular, exceptional country was birthed in prayer and reverence for God. This pandemic reminds us that we are not in control, and we do need God’s wisdom for our lives and our nation. It reminds me of the saying - “if you want to make God laugh…. tell him your plans.” The theme of this year’s National Day of Prayer is to pray God’s glory across the earth. “… the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, …” (Habakkuk2:14)
