“Hoppy” Friday. We are 3 weeks into our Covid-19 restrictions and I am thrilled to report so far so good. The Wauwatosa Public Health department continues to offer us very positive feedback with our efforts to keep everyone safe.
I am sorry to report that after looking at the mathematical models we have not yet “peaked” and the worst is yet to happen. The data is demonstrating to us that places which have mandated distancing are seeing MUCH better results than those who have not. During last night’s White House briefing, health officials STRONGLY remind us that everyone must do their part with social distancing. The experts are going so far as to state it is our civic duty to distance ourselves. This can be done by remaining in your apartments, not congregating in places where others gather and limiting the numbers on the elevator. I too, strongly encourage you to keep up the good work and to encourage your roof neighbors and family members to do the same.
Speaking of family members…some time ago I encouraged you to take advantage of this “at home time” to review and update your emergency contact information. I cannot stress enough how important it is for us to have accurate information. It is so important that I have asked our volunteer nurse team to assist with gathering this vital information. Please, complete the attached form and return it to the front desk. We need this information updated and reviewed as soon as possible.
