To Our Community Partners,
We hope this email finds you healthy and safe. At St. Camillus, we continue to have no positive COVID-19 cases in our community. Our most current information can be found on our website: www.stcam.com under COVID-19 Communication. We wanted to share the latest news on campus with you.
Share the love!
Kay, our Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, created a beautiful display on our Home Health and Hospice office windows for Nurses Appreciation. The display reads: St. Camillus nurses are a work of HEART.
How are you celebrating our beloved nurses this month? Feel free to share your stories with us.
April showers bring May flowers!
We hope you enjoyed your Mother's Day. In Independent Living, we treated residents to a special menu for both brunch and dinner and added flowers to their trays for a touch of spring. Many families scheduled video calls to spend quality time with their loved ones virtually.
Yesterday, we created a new garden tour. Flowers sprouted on each door and residents are able to personalize their flowers however they like! Once complete, residents can take a stroll through the hallways and enjoy their very own St. Camillus Garden Tour!
Pause for a Prayer
A 2-minute time out for self-care brought to you by St. Camillus Pastoral Care
Pause, Take a deep breath – hold for 4 seconds and exhale slowly….
I pause (breathe in and out) and thank you for this day. For the challenges, the emotions, the struggle. For in all this, I grow closer to you. I pause (breathe in and out) and ask that in the darkness, I see your light and in my fear, I feel your strength. I pause (breathe in and out) and remember that today, As in days before, I have survived. When I’ve wanted to run, I’ve stayed. When I wanted to hide, I’ve faced the day. I pause (breathe in and out) and resolve to love myself more tomorrow. And always feel your spirit surround me in safety. I pause (breathe in and out) Thank you God. - By Erin Roush
