What steps has St. Camillus implemented to protect our staff and residents during the pandemic?
- More frequent cleaning of touch-points & common areas
- Required additional staff training in infection control & proper use of PPE
- Suspended all visitors, large group activities & congregate dining
- Moved majority of meetings to virtual – by phone or screen
- Daily health screens & temperature checks for all staff before they punch in
- Staff who are ill are required to stay home until fully recovered, with symptom checks several times per week
- Moved numerous office staff positions to work remotely
- All staff are required to wear face masks at all times when interacting with others
- Anyone traveling or with possible exposure was quarantined 14 days before returning to work
- Any new admissions spend 14 days in isolation, to ensure they aren’t bringing in contagious illnesses
