Dear residents and families:
As a follow up to our communication sent on June 5, 2020 in regards to the pending results from our building wide COVID-19 testing in our Skilled Nursing,Assisted Living and Memory Care buildings, we wanted to send you the latest update.
We are pleased to report that after testing all residents, we had no positive COVID-19 cases. We did receive confirmation today that one of our dietary employees working in our Assisted Living and Memory Care buildings tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member has already been quarantining since June 1st due to exposure outside of work. Contact tracing is complete and the employee had no resident contact.
The latest CDC guidance to long term care organizations regarding positive COVID-19 results among staff, is that we must conduct additional rounds of testing until we reach the point where we’ve gone 14 days without any positive test results. For this reason, we will begin a second round of testing for all staff in our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care buildings starting 6/12 through 6/16. We will continue to provide regular updates as we receive them.
We again thank you for your support and understanding throughout this process. If you have any questions, please contact us:
