The Campus – SubCozy CampusThe large buildings, grand wooded acres, and seemingly large resident population may make the campus seem intimidating on first viewing. However, those who have lived at St. Camillus will tell you that it is big and lovely, but it becomes very manageable very quickly.
“I was a little nervous about leaving my apartment when I first moved to San Camillo, because I was afraid I might get lost. It’s funny now to think about it. What I realized quickly was that it seems everyone wants to help each other. So after some friends asked me to accompany them to a bridge game in the park, I started to realize that the campus isn’t as big and unwieldy as I had thought. I began to take little exploration walks around small parts of the grounds, and eventually I knew where everything was. Now I spend much more time out and about.” – Nancy K.
