Position:  CHAPLAIN-HOSPICE

 

Dept:  Hospice/Pastoral Care

Reports to:  Chaplain Supervisor

Hours:  FT 64 hrs/pp; eligible for all benefits including health, mostly 1st shift hours with on call or weekends as needed

Job Summary:  This position will provide a continuum of chaplain services and programs designed to meet the religious and spiritual needs of clients, their family members, and other coinciding departments throughout St. Camillus when needed and requires by hospice regulations.  This position will serve clients on campus and off campus in the community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in theology or religious studies preferred
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 2 CPE units
  • 1 year of spiritual/ministry experience in healthcare setting preferred
  • Continuing education in spirituality, pastoral counseling, gerontology, and related fields of ministry, i.e. working toward Clinical Pastoral Education certification
  • Understanding and agreement to abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains
  • Previous professional experience with counseling and dealing with grief, loss, and end-of-life issues preferred.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate varying prayer expressions.
  • Sensitivity to residents with varying chronic physical and mental dysfunctions.
  • Ability to meet the spiritual needs of clients from varying denominational backgrounds and beliefs.
  • When utilizing a personal vehicle, a valid license and proof of current vehicle liability insurance coverage, as well as a driving record that complies with the St. Camillus Safe Driving policy.

 

Position:  Community Sales Liaison

 

Department:  Marketing

Reports to:  Marketing Manager

Hours:  80/pp, mostly first shift hours 1st shift, occasional weekends

Responsibilities:  Determined and engaged Community Sales Liaison needed to promote all programs and services of St. Camillus by developing community partnerships. The Community Sales Liaison will have strong sales skills with the ability to achieve sales objectives and census goals.   This position is responsible for actively seeking out new prospective referral sources for Home Health services and maintaining strong rapport with current referral sources.  The Community Sales Liaison will represent St. Camillus at community and networking events and identify new outreach opportunities with area religious orders, parishes, and senior communities.  This confident, goal orientated, and creative individual enjoys creating and growing relationships while working in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:   Excellent written and verbal communication skills, minimum of 2-year associate degree, 4-year preferred, 1-3 years marketing or sales experience preferred,  public speaking and strong presentation skills, ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.  Must have own transportation and a valid WI driver's license is required.

 

Position:  HEALTH UNIT COORDINATOR

 

Department:  Skilled Nursing

Reports to: Director of Nursing

Hours:  80 hours/pp,  FT days

Responsibilities:  Acts as receptionist for the nursing station including answering inquiries, giving directions, relaying messages, assisting volunteers.   Coordinates and orders routine services, supplies and equipment.  Maintains residents’ records, schedules and coordinates resident appointments.  Performs clerical duties related to procedures such as admissions, discharges and transfers.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certification as Health Unit Clerk, Medical Secretary, or 3-5 yrs experience in a position with related job functions in a long-term care or medical setting.
  • Demonstrates advanced electronic medical record knowledge.  Advanced word and Excel skills and willingness to learn other software as deemed appropriate.
  • Good organization with ability to work with frequent interruptions.  Professional, customer oriented telephone and communication skills.
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job.
