Position:  BENEFITS/HR ASSISTANT

 

Department:  Human Resources

Reports to:  Director

Hours:  Full-time (80 hrs/pp), 1st shift

Responsibilities:  This fast-paced position:

  • coordinates monthly enrollments in employee benefit plans
  • coordinates annual open enrollments & other staff benefit education
  • reconciles payroll deductions to monthly benefits invoices for payment
  • generates reports for all annual benefit plan discrimination testing
  • generates 1094/1095 forms in timely manner for annual filing
  • enters new hires, terminations or changes into employee database
  • assists in coordinating monthly new employee orientations

Qualifications:  Minimum 2+ yrs experience in Human Resources or Benefits Administration role. Strong computer & data entry skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) & use of advanced Excel features (formulas, v-lookup, etc).  Extreme accuracy & attention to detail, extremely professional written/verbal communication skills.
