Position:  MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

 

Department:  Environmental Services

Reports to:  Environmental Services Director

Hours:  80hrs every two weeks, 1st shift, inc. occ. wknds & on-call.

Responsibilities:  Perform all essential functions of a master electrician. Install, maintain and repair all electrical systems to NEC (national electrical code) standards; Perform the installation of conduit, including electrical-metallic tubing, plastic mold, and wire mold; Observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to detect need for adjustments, relocation, replacement or repair. Repair kitchen equipment including dishwashers, booster heaters, disposals and freezers; monitoring building systems, HVAC systems, and fire alarm systems; Perform additions, extensions, or alterations to electrical installations for power, light, heat, and appliances in buildings and on grounds; Troubleshoot, perform repairs, and test a variety of motors, electrical circuits, machinery, transformers, meters, and recording instruments; Responds to resident/staff work orders for maintenance/equipment repairs; Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  Four (4) years of electrical maintenance experience; Knowledge of safe electrical practices for grounding, locking out, de-energizing, testing and disabling electrical circuits to prevent injury to self and other persons; Knowledge of National Electric Code; State Journeyman Electrician’s card holder (Preferred or equivalent experience); Previous hospital or resident facility experience, helpful; Familiar with all phases of electrical work both diagnostic and preventive; Basic knowledge of low voltage systems, Nurse call, WIFI and TV cable systems; Valid WI driver’s license.

 

Position:  MAINTENANCE TECH - 2nd shift

 

Department:  Environmental Services

Reports to:  Environmental Services Director

Hours:  80hrs every two weeks, 2nd shift, inc. occ. wknds & on-call

Responsibilities:  Conducting preventative maintenance for building systems; Replace light bulbs/ballasts; Monitoring water system, HVAC     systems, and fire alarm systems; Appliance repair and other facility electrical equipment; Monitoring performance of major building systems including HVAC, and emergency power and fire protection; Responds to resident/staff work orders for maintenance/equipment repairs; Perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply; repair vacuum cleaners and any other small equipment; Acting as first responder for fire and weather related emergencies; Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:   Minimum of three years previous experience in facilities maintenance, equipment repair, construction, or equivalent; Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.); Knowledge of building maintenance, applicable codes and regulations; Two-year technical degree or equivalent is required; Previous hospital or resident facility experience, helpful; Ability to weld and cut metals; Basic knowledge of low voltage systems, Nurse call, WIFI and TV cable systems; Valid WI driver’s license.

 

Position:  Plumber

 

Department:  Environmental Services

Reports to:  Maintenance Supervisor

Hours:  80hrs every two weeks, 1st shift, inc. occ. wknds & on-call.

Responsibilities:  Installs plumbing fixtures, disposals, dishwashers, shower/tub modules, faucets, valves; Familiar with ABS/PVC/PEX, copper and iron pipe work; Monitor performance of major building systems including water temperatures and HVAC; Conducts preventative maintenance on water heaters, tempering valves; Water supply, waste water, water heaters, kitchen equipment, and fire protection; inspects, maintains and repairs all plumbing related equipment including linked boilers and heat exchangers; maintains hot water system and services gas boilers

Qualifications:  Three or more years’ experience as a Journeyman plumber (experience with facilities in a commercial, industrial, or healthcare setting preferred); State Certified  Journeyman Plumbing License or equivalent experience; valid WI driver’s license; -High School and/or technical school graduation; Ability to perform assigned daily duties and complete projects with minimal supervision; Considerable knowledge of the plumbing methods, tools, mechanical equipment and techniques used in the trade.  Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, and building sanitation codes; Ability to prioritize work and manage assigned work orders in a timely manner.
