Working with the elderly is something Bobbie loves to do.  Bobbie, who has been a Home Health Aide for the past 6 years, describes her clients as “people that teach me a lot of history. . . Because of them, I have become more knowledgeable.”  Bobbie chose to be a HHA because she likes the flexibility of her position.  Plus, she feels the people she works with are caring, supportive and understanding.  Sometimes her job is challenging because of the many different personalities she encounters, but Bobbie says, “This is common with life.”  Working with St. Camillus has become a family affair – Bobbie’s mother  & daughter also work for our home health agencies.
 
 
Chris, a Chaplain in Pastoral Care since 2001, most enjoys working at St. Camillus because:   “I value the opportunity to serve in a Christian environment embracing people of all faith denominations and seeing the presence of Christ in all those I serve.”  Residents are Chris’ #1 priority.  She enjoys assisting them in their spiritual growth.  She and her fellow team members provide a holistic approach in caring for residents, striving to meet their physical as well as spiritual needs.  Chris shares a major insight, ”The time we have together has shown me how strong they remain in their faith, even as aging has given them physical difficulties.”  Chris describes our residents as “wisdom keepers,” because of their rich and varied experiences.  Christine loves to journey with them and listen to their life stories.  She comments, “The path we walk together is sacred ground for entering into their life.”

Responsibilities: As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain provides a continuum of services and programs designed to meet the religious, spiritual and practical needs of the residents, family members and employees of  St. Camillus Health Center, Assisted Living and San Camillo.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with courses in theology or religious studies, one year of pastoral experience preferably in a gerontological setting, evidence of continuing education to update skills/knowledge in spirituality, pastoral counseling , gerontology and related areas of ministry (minimum of 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education certification, preferred).

Responsibilities: Responsible for preparation of tasty, appealing, high quality foods for residents, employees and guests while maintaining high standards of quality and sanitary food preparation.
Requirements: High school grad or equivalent; minimum of three years quantity food preparation in a restaurant or similar business; certificate or graduation from an approved. Technical school in quantity food preparation and cooking; knowledge of institutional kitchen operations, sanitation, safety, standardized recipes and  proper food storage.

Responsibilities: Under the direction of a RN, will be providing and/or assisting clients with activities of daily living to our Jesuit Priests. Duties include: bathing, grooming, mobility, range of motion exercises, and other tasks as assigned by the RN Case Manager.
Qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent. Must be 18 yrs of age and WI certified CNA. Medication Administration Certification a plus! Good verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated and the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities: Providing care to residents in their apartment units as needed, and assist residents in medical emergencies. Provides assistance with medications, assists in healthcare treatments and services, and performs tasks related to the general supervision of the Residential Aide staff.
Requirements: Current WI LPN license, at least 2 years previous experience in a retirement community setting preferred. Must possess the ability to understand and comply with CBRF rules and regulations. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Position: NURSE PRACTITIONER, HOSPICE

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Hospice Medical Director, provides visits to hospice clients in their homes, assists in development of plans of care and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications: Current WI Nurse Practitioner license, ability to travel to client homes throughout Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties. Minimum of 2 years Hospice experience required.

Position: RECREATION THERAPY AIDE
Dept: Recreation Therapy
Reports to: Recreational Therapy Manager
Hours: 37/hrs week, M-F from 9am-5pm, every other Saturday 9am-4pm, off the Friday of that week. (All Benefits)
Responsibilities: Assists residents as they participate in a wide variety of therapeutic activities in group settings, on a 1:1 basis or in the activity room including giving clear directions and aiding the resident during the session. Transports (wheelchair) residents to and from recreational therapy functions. Assists in ordering and serving refreshments to residents. Responsible for cleaning equipment and recreation areas. Assists with daily charting of attendance and maintaining          resident files. Decorate facility appropriately for holidays, etc. to provide a pleasant atmosphere for residents; this includes dining rooms and bulletin boards as well as resident doors. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: H. S. Diploma or GED. Good communication skills. Previous work, volunteer or internship experience working with  geriatric residents, preferred. Strong computer skills. Ability to work independently. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities:
Caring, motivated RN needed to coordinate the day to day activities of the home health agency to ensure compliance of Joint Commission Standards. This position will supervisor Nursing Staff to ensure the delivery of quality, comprehensive healthcare services to clients within federal, state and St. Camillus guidelines.
Qualifications: Current WI RN license and minimum 2 year professional experience and 2 year supervisory experience. BSN and Home Health or Hospice experience a plus. Experience with OASIS and Coding desired. Ability to travel to client homes throughout area counties as directed by Administrator. Customer Service Skills and proven ability to lead are a Must!

Responsibilities: Provides skilled nursing care and assists to meet the physical, spiritual and psychosocial needs of the residents. The staff RN responds in emergency situations to assure resident safety and security. No MDS Responsibilities.
Qualifications: Current WI RN license, graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Minimum 2 years professional nursing experience, preferably experience in a LTC facility. Current CPR license.

Position: RN SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities: Oversees nursing care provided on the shift including assisting nurse managers in evaluating staff, assessing residents, making daily rounds, delegating assignments to staff and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Current WI RN license, 2+yrs related experience preferred. Strong clinical/supervisory skills & knowledge of federal/state regulations, accurate data entry skills and familiarity with electronic health records. Current CPR certification.

Starting Range: $10.50-$12.40
Responsibilities: Tour all campus facilities; operates switchboard/paging system, receives, screens and gives direction to residents, visitors and guests in a polite and courteous manner; assists during emergencies and demonstrates a working knowledge of emergency communication systems.
Qualifications: High school grad or equivalent; minimum one year security experience preferred, ability to handle stressful situations, good written and oral communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Word.
