Working with the elderly is something Bobbie loves to do.  Bobbie, who has been a Home Health Aide for the past 6 years, describes her clients as “people that teach me a lot of history. . . Because of them, I have become more knowledgeable.”  Bobbie chose to be a HHA because she likes the flexibility of her position.  Plus, she feels the people she works with are caring, supportive and understanding.  Sometimes her job is challenging because of the many different personalities she encounters, but Bobbie says, “This is common with life.”  Working with St. Camillus has become a family affair – Bobbie’s mother  & daughter also work for our home health agencies.
 
 
Chris, a Chaplain in Pastoral Care since 2001, most enjoys working at St. Camillus because:   “I value the opportunity to serve in a Christian environment embracing people of all faith denominations and seeing the presence of Christ in all those I serve.”  Residents are Chris’ #1 priority.  She enjoys assisting them in their spiritual growth.  She and her fellow team members provide a holistic approach in caring for residents, striving to meet their physical as well as spiritual needs.  Chris shares a major insight, ”The time we have together has shown me how strong they remain in their faith, even as aging has given them physical difficulties.”  Chris describes our residents as “wisdom keepers,” because of their rich and varied experiences.  Christine loves to journey with them and listen to their life stories.  She comments, “The path we walk together is sacred ground for entering into their life.”

Responsibilities: As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain provides a continuum of services and programs designed to meet the religious, spiritual and practical needs of the residents, family members and employees of  St. Camillus Health Center, Assisted Living and San Camillo.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with courses in theology or religious studies, one year of pastoral experience preferably in a gerontological setting, evidence of continuing education to update skills/knowledge in spirituality, pastoral counseling , gerontology and related areas of ministry (minimum of 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education certification, preferred).

Position: HOME HEALTH AIDE
Department: Home Health & Hospice
Reports to: Nurse Supervisor
Starting Range: $10.50-$12.40 (Wage may vary according to qualifications)
Hours: Full Time & Part Time 2nd shifts AND 3rd Shifts
(Part Time is Not Benefit Eligible)
Assignments can range from 1 to 8 hour assignments
1st shift Start time between 6-8am
2nd shift start time between 2-4pm
3rd shift is for 8-12 hour assignments. Start time between
8-10pm and end time between 7-8am
Responsibilities: Under the direction of a RN, will be providing and/or assisting clients with activities of daily living including: bathing, grooming, mobility, range of motion exercises, and other tasks as assigned by the RN Case Manager.
Qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent. Must be 18 yrs of age and WI certified CNA. Good verbal & written communication skills, self-motivation, work independently with little supervision. Valid license and auto insurance a plus!!

Position: HOUSEKEEPING AIDE

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager
Starting Range: $9.25-$10.95
Hours: FT, 2nd shift, 2:00pm – 10:30pm, no weekends, rotating holidays 1-2x per year (All  Benefits)
Responsibilities: Receive assignments and provide thorough cleaning of office and common areas, maintain clean solution for proper disinfection to prevent cross contamination,  performs horizontal and vertical dusting.  Cleans furnishings, fixtures, floors, etc.
Qualifications: Minimum of one year housekeeping experience, required.  Health care or hotel experience is a plus. High school graduate or equivalent. Requires the ability to: know common housecleaning equipment/chemicals, adapt to rapidly changing priorities in a fast paced environment, understand written/oral instructions, schedules, policies and procedures.  Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job without harm to self or others.  Must be 18yrs of age or older.

Requirements: Graduate of accredited nursing school with current WI LPN license. Minimum 2 years nursing experience, preferably working with the elderly and persons with dementia. Strong written/verbal communication skills. Knowledge of CBRF regulations. Current CBRF & CPR certifications required.

Position: MAINTENANCE TECH

Reports to: Environmental Services Director
Hours: 40hrs/week – 1st shift, Occasional weekends (All Benefits)
Job Description: Repairing all mechanical equipment used in resident care; conducting preventative maintenance; monitoring water system, boilers and air conditioning; assisting in installing new electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, appliance repair, or other facility electrical apparatus; monitoring performance of major building systems including HVAC, and emergency power and fire protection. Responding to resident/staff requests for maintenance/equipment repairs; maintaining the power system and carrying out regular preventative maintenance; acting as first responder for fire and weather related emergencies.
Requirements: High school grad or GED, minimum of 5 years previous experience with a strong emphasis on carpentry  Electrical  or HVAC experience is also a plus .  Completion of a 2-year technical degree or equivalent is required.  Previous hospital or resident facility experience would be helpful.  Must have a valid WI driver’s license.

Under the direction of the Hospice Medical Director, provides visits to hospice clients in their homes, assists in development of plans of care and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications: Current WI Nurse Practitioner license, ability to travel to client homes throughout Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties. Minimum of 2 years Hospice experience required.

Responsibilities:
Caring, motivated RN needed to coordinate the day to day activities of the home health agency to ensure compliance of Joint Commission Standards. This position will supervisor Nursing Staff to ensure the delivery of quality, comprehensive healthcare services to clients within federal, state and St. Camillus guidelines.
Qualifications: Current WI RN license and minimum 2 year professional experience and 2 year supervisory experience. BSN and Home Health or Hospice experience a plus. Experience with OASIS and Coding desired. Ability to travel to client homes throughout area counties as directed by Administrator. Customer Service Skills and proven ability to lead are a Must!

Responsibilities: Provides skilled nursing care and assists to meet the physical, spiritual and psychosocial needs of the residents. The staff RN responds in emergency situations to assure resident safety and security. No MDS Responsibilities.
Qualifications: Current WI RN license, graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Minimum 2 years professional nursing experience, preferably experience in a LTC facility. Current CPR license.

Position: RN SUPERVISOR 
Department: Skilled Nursing
Reports to: Director of Nursing
Hours: PT noc’s, 16hrs/bi-weekly, 10:30p-7am E/O weekend (No benefits)
On-Call positions available for all shifts!
Responsibilities: Oversees nursing care provided on the shift including assisting nurse managers in evaluating staff, assessing residents, making daily rounds, delegating assignments to staff and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Current WI RN license, 2+yrs related experience preferred. Strong clinical/supervisory skills & knowledge of federal/state regulations, accurate data entry skills and familiarity with electronic health records. Current CPR certification.

Starting Range: $10.50-$12.40
Responsibilities: Tour all campus facilities; operates switchboard/paging system, receives, screens and gives direction to residents, visitors and guests in a polite and courteous manner; assists during emergencies and demonstrates a working knowledge of emergency communication systems.
Qualifications: High school grad or equivalent; minimum one year security experience preferred, ability to handle stressful situations, good written and oral communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Word.
