At St. Camillus, the care and compassion that we demonstrate within our facilities also extends beyond the boundaries of our campus. We understand the fact that some patients prefer to receive treatment in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. For that reason, St. Camillus offers In Home Care options for all area patients.
Our St. Camillus Care Managers meet with prospective In Home Care recipients to devise a treatment plan by way of a specific needs assessment. Care Management takes all of the patient’s needs and desires into account and develops a plan that will provide the best unique in home care for that patient. This plan is thorough and updated often to account for changes in the patient’s unique situation.
Registered nurses will attend to post-hospitalization care, wound care, and medication management, while also monitoring heart conditions and diabetes. Therapists are also available, and can conduct physical, occupational, and speech therapy in the patient’s home.
As peace of mind is a fundamental concern of our wholistic approach, we also offer home health aide and homemaker services. These people will attend to the person’s general health and housekeeping needs, providing meal preparation, bathing and dressing, and even light housecleaning.
St. Camillus In Home staff members are stringently screened and have a wonderful reputation for quality care. Every patient is matched with a qualified caregiver and all care is supervised by a registered nurse. The patient’s overall comfort is our chief concern.
