Three apartments are now completely renovated, and we are starting on the next. There are forty apartments in this area. We anticipate this will be an ongoing project.

The renovation includes a new ceiling, crown molding, new woodwork and a fresh bright look. Each apartment has built-in closets, a built-in dresser system, safety floors, ceramic tiled bathrooms, new carpeting, and upgraded lighting. The renovated apartments compliment the common areas which were upgraded just a few years ago when we added the new Spa Room.

The renovations were partially funded by a generous donation from the Guild, a volunteer organization that supports our mission and residents. If you would like to see our new space, please call the Marketing Department at 414/259-6310.

Visit our new Thrift Shop, already known by the residents as “A Little Gem of a Store.” The store celebrated its grand opening this spring. Customers eagerly awaited the shop doors to open and when they did, the fun began. Everyday new items arrive and business has been brisk. The shop features furniture, artwork, jewelry, household items and clothing.

The St. Camillus Guild operates the store solely by volunteers. Since 1956, the St. Camillus Guild has been providing a host of benefits to the residents of our Assisted Living and Health Center. The Thrift Shop is a community resource operated by the caring volunteers who donate their time and effort. Volunteers collect, sort and sell donations of clothing, furniture and household items to residents, staff and neighbors. All proceeds from the sales are used to support the mission of St. Camillus.

Stop by and find a treasure, and support the Guild’s efforts. For hours of the Thrift Shop call 414/259-6300.
