Home care is a health care option offering a broad range of medical care and support services provided in the home. Services range from simple assistance in the activities of daily living to high-tech medical procedures.

Camillus CARES Home Health Care Agency is a state-licensed and Medicare/Medicaid-certified home health agency serving Milwaukee and Waukesha counties.

WHAT WE OFFER

Registered Nurses

Provide care after hospitalization, as well as medication management and wound care
Monitor patient conditions including congestive heart failure and diabetes
Teach oxygen use, correct use of medications, insulin administration and diet management
Provide expertise in pain and symptom management and provide palliative and end-of-life care
Serve as case managers to assess all care given and supervise all home health aide and/or homemaker companion services

Rehab Services Include:

Physical therapy to improve the patient's strength, flexibility and balance, specializing in treating people with hip fractures and joint replacements
Occupational therapy to improve the performance of self-care activities
Speech-language pathology to improve comprehension, expression, problem solving and swallowing

Home Health Aides

In addition, under the supervision of the registered nurse case manager, our home health aides are available to provide assistance with:

Bathing, dressing and grooming
Range-of-motion exercise and help with walking
Hair care, nail care and skin care
Respite care for the family
Assistance with medication

Homemakers

Homemakers are also available to provide assistance with:

Laundry/light housekeeping
Facilitating activities that improve the quality of life
Doctor appointments
Meal planning and preparation
Shopping
